Yoga and Mindfulness classes

Connect and find calm in a fast-paced world.
Pre-school to grade 6
Adult

Yoga and mindfulness can help anyone improve body awareness and mental focus. Meditation and breathing techniques bring calm and self-awareness. Radiant Moon yoga classes help students calm their thoughts and achieve mental focus. The yoga asana (poses) build physical strength and balance. My goal is an integration of body and mind that aids in self-regulation. In our fast-paced world, we need to find a peaceful place to support us through various challenges in day-to-day life. Radiant Moon yoga can be that place. Bringing yoga into your life, being in nature, and prioritizing rest and reflection are wonderful gifts we can give ourselves.

New adult classes January 2024 at Kingston Road United Church

Children’s yoga classes use the phonetic alphabet to introduce 26 yoga poses. Through games, art, songs, music, social-emotional learning (SEL), and storytelling each class has a unique theme while establishing routines.

  • Children are naturally mindful, imaginative and creative. In the yoga program we focus on these qualities and celebrate the individuality of each child. Yoga allows us to connect.

  • With over 25 years of experience working with children and a mom of two teens, Fay has grown to understand the demands on families and the stressors that children experience.

  • Bringing yoga into your life, being in nature, slowing down and prioritizing rest and reflection are wonderful gifts we can give our children to help them throughout their lives.

  • Weekly enrichment classes

Do you want to bring a class to your children’s setting? Whether it’s pre-school, grade 1-6 or summer camp, each class is tailored for your age group. Staff can join in, take a breathing break, relax and enjoy.

  • Summer camp

Based out of Kingston Road United Church. Camp includes yoga, nature hikes, art ,games workshops and lots of fun. The small group allows for kids to check in with their thoughts and feelings in a supported environment.

Fay is an exceptional yoga teacher with young children. She enhances their understanding of their mind and body relationship while increasing their body awareness.  Her program enriches the socio-emotional development of children as she creates learning opportunities when she tells stories with her yoga positioning. Fay is flexible with her schedule and adaptable to the needs and interest of the children.  We highly recommend her services.

“I love going to Yoga Fay’s classes. She is always positive and happy, and the yoga helps me to feel calm and relaxed after a bad day!”

“Had a lovely yoga session with Fay via zoom. I can highly recommend. I’m a child minder in England, today I had 4 children 1yrs-4yrs old, all of them were engaged with Fay. Her teaching was fluid, easy to follow, calm and fun. Will definitely be back for more sessions.”
